We had a great day at South City International school today. What a great bunch if young listeners from Sri Sri Academy, The Calcutta Emmanuel School, Bridge International School , Hazra Road, Kolkata Iper and South City International School!

Deborah Moriarty, Chair of the Piano Department at Michigan State University College of Music offers masterclasses for students of The Calcutta School of Music.

Piali Ashar Alo is a village school for girls 2.5 hours outside Kolkata.

The Bijou Trio performs at the Newtown School in Calcutta, India December 2018. Performers Courtney Miller (oboe), Benjamin Coelho (bassoon) and Jennifer Heemstra (piano) entertained students in 5th and 6th grade. In addition to performing a variety of classical pieces they collaborated with dancers from 5 Rhythms, an NGO which uses music and dance therapy with victims of human trafficking.

Our visit to the Indian Institute of Cerebral Palsy for a wonderful Christmas concert.

Road trip to Piali Ashar Alo, a school for first generation learners in a village 2.5 hours outside of Calcutta.
