Kolkata Classics in assoc with Swar Sangam sponsored several concerts in the Hills or Himalayas. Marla Berg, Professor at Akron University and Jennifer Heemstra performed operatic arias, art song and show tunes for students and teachers. For most this was their first time ever hearing such kind of music.

Performing for an exceptional crowd of young learners at Aryaman Vikram Birla Institute of Learning will never be forgotten. A BIG thank you to Ms. Julia Bailey, Mrs. Hingorani, Mrs Patjoshi, Mrs. Lorraine Mirza, Mr. Mohd Asim Ali, Mrs Rohit Gurung & Mr. PJS Cheema for coordinating this extraordinary trip.
